What is more precious than a handwritten note in your child's lunch box,  a doddled little heart to that special someone, or even a thank you letter to a friend, and lest we forget that first hand drawn note from our little ones to us  ~ While encouraging a well read child we, too, should remember that a well written note is more precious than gold.

Reading with a Fussalopolus!

My little fellow turns into a grumpy little dinosaur at bedtime, which has led me to affectionately give him the nickname of Fussalopolus. Fussalopolus like to stop his feet and swing his head side to side roaring "Noooo...nooo...ooohhhh nooo" at the very mention of nighty-night. 

So how is the Fussalopolus soothed? Why with a bottle of chocolate milk and a story of course!

After much, and time consuming choices, the Fussalopolus finally chooses a book as we read through the adventures, and colorful pages, the Fussalopolous slowly begins to close his eyes and soon the grumpy little dinosaur is sleeping soundly.
